TREE HOUSE, D-PALM PREMIUM LIVING, KALATHAS, CHANIA, CHANIA

We undertook the study, design, construction and supervision of the project. The aim was to design a romantic hideaway in nature that would be intended for tourist use. Treehouses have been and always will be a promise of adventure for children and adults alike, bringing back childhood memories along with the desire to enter a magical world. This unique building is located in the garden of a tourist complex in Kalatha, Chania. Every element is influenced by nature in its exterior and interior space. An ideal place for relaxation, games or a romantic evening under the stars. The raw materials used to build the D-PALM TREE HOUSE include peeled Cypress and Eucalyptus logs. The masonry consists of Swedish boards. Pefki. Multiple roofing materials and the tropical material ALANG-ALANG were used on the roof for shading. Decorative handmade mats and Bamboo were used in the interior masonry. Finally, uPVC frames of high energy efficiency were installed. All the materials come together and blend into the foliage of the trees to create the perfect fairytale shelter for young and old.
