Description
Constructions made from natural coconut foliage which comes from trees in Central Africa where the finest quality is harvested. The formwork may be of peeled logs or square timber treated with a special water-based wood preservative to protect against fungus and worm.
MAKUTI tropical constructions are characterized by their exotic appearance and multiple design possibilities. They can be up to 100% water-dense. Maintenance is extremely easy, replacing only a portion of the foliage that has lost its integrity.
The MAKUTI material lasts for about 10-15 years and after that only partial replacement of only the gender can be done, at low cost, without changing the wood type.
